   Absolutely Love It! Follow the instructions and they come out like "glass". No real difference between tap or filtered water provided the water is WARM when you fill up the unit. Also make sure you let the ice balls "rest" a bit before pouring your favorite liquid into it to prevent cracking.I tried a number of others molds and none of them came close to matching the clarity and consistency of the Ice Box system. Do yourself a favor: buy this and be done so you can spend time drinking instead of fiddling with other ice molds.

   This ice mold is fun and functional. It creates ice ball that lasts for a long time in drinks. It melts much more slowly than ice cubes, so drinks are not watered down. I use it exclusively for colas which have been refrigerated, so they are already cold, but I want to keep them cold. One ice ball lasts for several hours that way. I have not tried it with a drink that starts at room temperature.I received the single unit (for one sphere) and it was easy to fill and freeze. There was no spillage, and with one sphere, it was easy to find a flat space in the freezer. When filling the sphere, just make sure it is full. The first time I did it, it seemed to fill quite quickly and I realized there was a bubble in the opening that prevented water from entering. I did not see the bubble at all due to the funnel-type opening.When you are ready to use the ice, just peel the silicone away and pop the ice out.

   This ice ball maker works exactly as I anticipated. It makes crystal clear ice balls in 18 - 24 hours, that are easy to remove from the mold. The only thing lacking is a easy way to remove the frozen water in the bottom of the mold. If you would like to save that crystal clear ice as well to break apart for drinks, you must either wait for the ice to partially melt to remove it from the bottom of the mold. I just run cold water over it, and then remove it, break it apart, and place in the freezer for additional clear ice.I would purchase this item again.

   This has got to be the absolute best ice ball maker, for the price, on the market!I had PERFECT results the 1st time! All you need to do is FOLLOW the directions! 1. Wash all the parts in warm soapy water before use 2. Using hot tap water, fill the reservoir to the fill mark 3. Ensure your freezer is at LEAST ZERO degrees F!!! 4. Place the entire assembly in the freezer for 24 hours! Exceeding 30 hours will CRACK the plastic liner 5. After 24 hours, remove from freezer and pull up on the tabs, one at a time, to remove the ice balls 6. If not completely frozen, the ice balls and not the remaining water at the bottom of the reservoir, place back in fridge for a couple of hours 7. once removed from the mold, store ice balls in a zip-lock bag in your freezer 8. using warm water, melt the ice which remains in the reservoir and star all over to make more ice ballsThe ice will come out perfect! You can use bottled water, however, ensure you WARM up the water before use. Do NOT boil the water, heat only to the same temperature of your tap water, use a thermometer if necessary!You can spend more money and of course you can spend less, however, this product is the best value for outstanding results EVERY TIME!
