You need to use the remote to get it to spin otherwise it barely spins bc the spinning option on device itself only has spin a tiny tiny bit. But on the remote there's an option to get it moving more. There are many sounds and songs to choose from. I think our 8 month old will love this! I'll update this review in a month. So far very pleased! Really nice stark light for the price!
