   I purchased this for my yellow lab who had hot spots on her hind leg. I needed to apply ointment, wrap, and hope she didn't chew it off. This was a wonderful alternative to putting the "collar of shame" on her. The vet wanted us to keep her from licking it for at least a month. I would recommend it, if you need to cover a wound. She didn't bother it.

   This was the wrong brace for my dog. Instead of sending it back I took it to the local shelter. Their vet was appreciative because they do get dogs in with ACL injuries. My mistake may help another dog. I have since gotten the correct brace for my dog's CCL injury and he is a happy dog!!!
