   I liked the instructions for a basic, short haircut. Not ideal compared to the cut for which I paid, but close enough for me to drop the monthly appointment, drive, and save money. My wife cuts my hair now in about 15 minutes on our schedule. After about 3 months she is learning to adjust the approach just a bit to handle some of the odd features about my hair. The guides help guard against silly mistakes. Once we figured the correct range of guides to use it was easy. The only thing I noticed is after about 10 minutes the cutting blades can get pretty warm. I clean and oil the blades after each use.
