   My dog shreds everything within minutes but love squeak toys. These toys last a long time and he has yet to be able to shred any of them apart. Occasionally the squeak will get a little lower or wear out but the toy has never been chewed into pieces and my dog is part pitbull. It's the only squeak toy that we buy for him now. We literally buy new ones only because they lose their new toy smell and he stops playing with them After awhile!

   I bought this item almost two years ago, and it's still going strong! My 25 lb terrier mix is an aggressive chewer, but I guess since it's so large relative to her mouth, she has a hard time chewing pieces off. We did buy one of the smaller toys from this brand too, and that one lasted maybe a week before she bit pieces off. But she likes this one quite a bit, and it's the only squeaky toy she has that she hasn't broken yet.

   My Shepherd LOVES this toy. It's his favorite. I'd previously purchased one elsewhere and he played with it for a year and it stood up to him for that entire time. We're talking about a dog that eats beef femurs like they're chewing gum. That says something about the durability of these toys. What they toy could not withstand was my rotten kids. They got tired of the dog squeaking it, so they poked a pen though the squeaker. The dog was crushed. He'd wander around with it in his mouth frantically trying to get a sound out of it before he'd drop it, then flop down next to it with a huge dejected sigh. It broke my heart so I bought him another. You could see how happy he was when the new one arrived. Hopefully your dog will enjoy it too.

   My dog is a heavy chewer, and player (Doberman). I got one of these when she was a puppy and about 2 years later it broke in half from periodic chewing and tugging. It was one of her favorites and I was impressed it lasted so long so I ordered another one. She goes through things pretty quick, and I know she could have destroyed this fast as well, but it probably helped that she had other things she was supposed to chew on instead. We never encouraged her to chew this, but she loves bringing it over so we can throw it, or tug on it. Never had any issues with the squeaker (until the first one broke in half after 2 years). I would recommend it, but try to encourage it for play and not for chewing. It is flexible and durable and handles a 70lb Doberman dangling from it periodically.

   I got this to use for Dock Diving after my dog kept selecting a similar stick from the bumper basket during practice. He loves it. Its a good weight for throwing and he's motivated to go after it. Stands up to short tug sessions. The ends get chewed briefly during practice so not sure how long they will stay intact. Only one end has a squeaker.
