   This by far is my dogs favorite toy. So much I bought 3 more just to keep him going. My dog, despite his size, can tear through anything we give him. We have tried many 'tough chewer' type toys and he rips them apart. That being said this is not that type of toy and he killed the first one, so we put this away when we are not playing.    This toy lasts, at least for my dog! He loves it and has not chewed it apart, yet. Usually a toy lasts about 10 to 30 minutes before he is eating part of it but he seems to like the way it feels when he's chewing on it and has not ripped it up. I think it is the thermo-plastic rubber because he only has one other toy that has lasted and it is made with the same stuff.

   My puppy is almost a year old now and has been a problem chewer since his teeth came in; socks and other laundry items weren't safe whether in hampers or not. He was even chewing up my granddaughter's toys at an alarming rate! I I highly recommend them and believe they have saved his life! Perforated bowels from sharp swallowed plastic killed one beloved puppy in our family years ago. They're just beyond fabulous!! I'm a customer forever!!

   Bought for my 6 months old chi that chews a lot and hard. The only thing I didn't like is the fact that even though I bought a small one it is quite big for a chihuahua's mouth but he manages and has chewed on it with pleasure. So far it's holding on with just a few nicks. Makes a lot of noise when dropped on the bare floor but a sound I got used to already.
