He was not spooked at all and the noise level was so minimal he did not even bother to investigate what it was. It was easy to see the nails being trimmed up and reduced down. I should have ordered this awhile ago as it is very easy to use with my dog.

   When I first got this product I was doubtful because my bulldog wouldn't be still. The second attempt to use the product I did as the instructions suggested and allowed her to see and sniff it. I slowly approached her paw to do a nail. The noise is super quiet. By the third try, I was able to do one paw. After that, she was comfortable and familiar and allow me to do her nails. I give her treats afterwards.

   My boxer bulldog mix has a tendency to do this weird kick with his hind legs and he's broken a couple nails. Clippers work, but leave his nails pretty rough. He's a big wuss, so I was worried that an electric nail grinder like this might freak him out. Oddly enough, my pup doesn't seem to mind much when I trim his nails now. The speed seems to work fine, the trimmer is relatively quiet, and it gets the job done quickly.
