   I got a hot wife but not in a good way. Been married 30 plus years and she suffers from hot flashes, We have gone through at least 3 fans of various types, usually bought from local stores. We've had both box fan and oscillating styles that simply failed miserably to help her. So, in a ' go for broke' moment, I ordered this fan. It costs money but so did the three prior fans that didn't do the job. So skip the 'affordable but inadequate' and get something that will do the job and then some.

It is quiet while running, the output is good and the mister was a nice touch in the summer heat at work. It's a balancing act to get it to stand up on a table or flat surface. I love eucalyptus so much, I am going to try a drop of my essential oil and see if that works in the water well for an output of the smell.

   After about eight years my old desk fan finally stopped spinning. I started shopping around. I've seen fans in person before and perhaps even this exact fan on my coworker's desk. I'm not so sure...At any rate, I did some measurements to make sure it would fit where I wanted it. It's roughly double the size of the old fan. It definitely gets the job done. Gotta keep this on low or else it's too loud but man, it moves so much air! It definitely would work nicely as a whole-room fan except it doesn't oscillate. For a stationary desk fan, it's a bit much. Highly recommend.
