I live in an apartment with a door that is a bit more raised up than in most homes. Works perfectly with the adjustment wedge that comes with it. This isn’t going to be as secure as a nightlock, but in a rental you can’t exactly drill holes into the floor. Tested it, and honestly yes someone COULD get in...if they could put enough force to break the hinges off the door and completely destroy the frame. Definitey worth it to give you the moments needed to react, arm yourself, and call the cops / or get out if that’s what you prefer,
