The product folds nicely into a tight package which makes it really easy to store, and it feels very sturdy. Don't be discouraged if your dog doesn't respond well to it at firs; I had to let my dog wear it for a couple hours before she was comfortable with me using it to help her around.

It allowed her to walk normally, but still squat to do her business. My dog is about 50 pounds and it wasn't too heavy for me to walk her while giving her back end the additional support needed.
