I've been very happy with this mount after using it on my city bike. It's all metal and sturdy. A single machine screw with a knurled head move the jaws that clamp on the phone. It is easy to place the phone in the mount and take it back off. I have not had any issues with the phone or the mount coming loose. I do wish that the plate under the phone was tighter on its base. It is intended to rotate with detents. However, the detents are soft and the phone wiggles a little. I've tried other plastic mounts with spring tabs that were the same if not worse so I didn't deduct a star. Also note that if you have a thick case or a pop-up holder on the back of your phone, the phone will be precarious in this mount. The clamping ears are not deep enough.
