They go for rides in trucks, hide in caves, and so on. We've also practiced naming animals. I've taken pictures with their Tender Leaf stacking friends so you might compare. Both stack with each other perfectly. Love the conspicuous eyes, as if to say, ”what are you doing? Are you sure you want to stack that there?”

   These are high-quality wooden toys that appear to be hand-painted. The animals are super cute and it's fun for children and adults alike to try to stack them on one another. Our 9-month old loves playing with them while he stands next to our coffee table, and we use them as an opportunity to teach him about the names of forest animals and the sounds they make. He gets a lot of joy out of playing with them, even if he mostly bangs them on the table or throws them at this point. If you're looking for a high-quality wooden toy (and find electronic/cheap plastic toys abhorrent), you can't go wrong with this set.
