As my best friend grows older and weaker, he has recently become unable to jump up o to “his” couch to lounge. This bed has been his favorite roosting point since the day it arrived! He seems to really love it, so I'm sure it's plenty comfy. And the raised berm around the edges gives him plenty of options to roll around and get comfortable. He can easily step onto the bed through the open side. I foresee this being the last bed he will need. It seemed like a lot of money at the time, but knowing he's comfortable and resting well makes it worth every cent in my book.
