   I am glad that I got these shoes when I did because I had to use a pallet jack at work and if I hadn't been wearing these shoes, it surely would have run over my toes when I had trouble stopping the pallet jack because of the weight of the item I was moving. Thanks to these shoes, my toes were perfectly protected, but also allowed me to give a review of this aspect as well.

   I am not at all disappointed in my shoes. I have problems with my ankles already, any additional weight is never helpful so being lightweight is a definite bonus, being weighed down is never a good thing for me. These shoes are as light as my running shoes. They do run a bit wide, so if you have very narrow feet, I would keep that in mind. However, I have "average" feet and being a little wide has worked in my benefit because now the shoes don't run against seem of my socks that always seems to run across the tops and sides of my toes that makes wearing anything uncomfortable. If you need arch support, I would highly recommend using an insole that you trust, these shoes don't offer much in the way of arch support, but don't let that stop you because everything else is worth it.

   I am a woman who has started a new job and needs steel toes with mediastinal guards. These have a lot of that BUT when I tried to buy a pair of shoes with that protection I ended up wasting my money on two boots that hurt my feet so much that I had blisters at the end of the shift. My work, it feels like I'm walking on nails. I had to put up with this while trying my best to find a good pair of shoes that met the standards I had to wear. I eventually came across these shoes and decided to make the intermediate protectors purchased separately, which are very uncomfortable and painful but worth having shoes that won't cause me blisters.

   I groom dogs so I need comfortable shoes that are very slip resistant. I also have wide feet, and other wide width shoes still pinch my pinkie toe a little. These are so roomy in the toe box but a nice snug fit in the rest of the foot. I ordered a half size up because I'm used to my toes pinching, but these are true to size. I'm ordering another pair or two because I want to have these shoes around!

   Had these shoes for about 4 months. Light weight (but only slightly heavier than regular shoes without an alloy toe). Great slip resistance for working in a grimy and oily plant. Arch support is certainly not the best but my feet have gotten used to the stiff bottoms these shoes have. Prefer these work shoes over the Reebok work shoes I previously owned whose outsole became worn too quickly and slip resistance was very poor. While these Skechers still have good slip resistance on oily floors, I'm repurchasing because I walk a lot and the outsole is wearing down.

   I work at a warehouse and I'm on my feet the entire day. I bought a pair of cheap steel toes that made my feet hurt SO bad to the point that I could barely walk. I was in so much pain that I decided to purchase these shoes because they got great reviews and I've also seen a lot of people wearing them. As soon as I put them on I knew that they would be comfortable. I've been wearing them for 2 weeks now and my feet don't hurt at all. I've also paired them with insoles which I also highly recommend if you deal with foot pain.

They don't rub on my toes there is enough room for me to more my toes around. I did order my a size up so my toes would not be at the end of the shoe.
