This strobe is really bright especially when its flashing. i highly recommend it if you walk, run or bike in the dark on any busy road. I like it better than a headlamp for my visibility too. It s very bright. Almost too bright (it does have two settings). It is not bulky or heavy. The LED lights are great. I have not charged it yet. I have worn it for at least five 30 minute periods. I think the buckle could be a bit sturdier and the button for the front light a bit easier to find (like paint it a bright color or something) . I hope it lasts me a while!
