At first I was upset because it wouldn't turn on when I plugged it in. But it would flicker on and off when I played around with it. Turns out I didn't read the description and it's activated in the dark!! It's so cute and I love that it slowly changes colors. It's smaller than I expected and not bright enough that you can navigate a dark room, but as someone who prefers total darkness this is quite pleasant to have for better ambience. It turns on easily actually, like when I pass by and my shadow hits. For the price, it's totally worth it.
