   I wanted to buy 3 pink medium vests for my sisters for Christmas. Who can't use one of these??! It's the perfect gift for anyone who may walk a dog at night or take a run or even shovel a sidewalk safely. Unfortunately Amazon was sold out of the mediums in pink. I emailed the company directly and they were SO NICE. They are a small family-run business. Jim looked through his warehouse and was able to find me three medium vests for my sisters, and shipped them immediately. They are the nicest reflective vests I've seen. I'm glad that we'll all stay safe and healthy while wearing a quality product.

   This is very light and fits even around my heavy clothes in spring and fall because it wraps. It is reflective at night and looks like construction worker safety vests so when folks see it, they 'pattern recognize' me as a person, not just another object on the road. Avoid several car and truck incidents where the driver was about to pull out but caught the vest just in time. Would definitely buy again but this one has a couple of seasons in it and no wear yet. Only issue is having to put in over my head before the helmet. Haha. No biggie.

About a week ago, I was running at dusk while wearing a white shirt and strobing yellow LED belt on my waist when a driver just about ran be down turning into a drive in front of me. She screamed that I "needed more light." This is when I noticed that one of her headlights was burned out. The truth is, I'm not the one who needed more light. But I realized I wouldn't be able to defend my argument if I was dead. So I decided to do what I could to make myself more visible to the idiots.

   I walk my dog at 5 am everyday. Last fall I was almost hit 3 separate times while walking (with the walk sign) through a crosswalk across a 4 lane local road. People coming out of my neighborhood at 5 am aren't really paying attention, they get the green light to turn left, they go. It's scary I could run but would my dog get hit in the process?SO because it is now getting dark again I ordered this great vest! I was so happy when I put it on this morning for the first time, it so bright!
