I don't like LED lights in the house, but these made a huge improvement in the garage lighting. Easy to install, just unscrew the existing bulbs and screw in the new fitting. The "fins" are adjustable so you can point them where needed. I've not used the garage door openers with them turned on, so cannot comment on that, as others have.
