Solar powered so you just put this in your garden or yard and it charges up during the day and runs deep into the night, depending on how long the nights are and how bright it was during the day. On cloudy days, it still starts bright but dims after a few hours, but on sunny days, it lasts all night as far as I can tell. Turns off in the morning and charges again. Since there's no power cord required, this thing can be way out in the middle of a field or placed anywhere as long as sun can reach the panel, which can adjust up or down and move to any side of the cactus.

There is a switch on the solar panel to turn it off but if you leave it on it just works. Set it and forget it, except to look at it of course. Good product, adds some fun backyard lighting to my home and it looks a lot like real neon which I especially like.
