   I did not notice a smell until I stuck my whole face into the box of 150 pair. If you smell them while wearing them, leave them in a car left in the sun on a hot summer's day and they'll will probably gas off enough to not be a problem. Ease of use scored high points but did involve using a tool, a small pair of pliers. If you don't use a tool, you'll probably just have them fall out again because they weren't properly secured (crimped). My hope is that this purchase lasts me the rest of my life.

It installed just fine, I was able to snap it in with my fingers. These sunglasses have been sitting on my desk for months! Two minutes and now they are good to go again. The nose piece fit perfectly, it is nice and soft and comfortable. I did notice a slight chemical/skunk like odor from the case as others have said, but it wasn't that bad. I could not detect any smell from the nose pads I used on my glasses. This set gets a well deserved five stars.

   I really don't review that which I have purchased unless it sucks or if it is something that provides exceptional value. In this case it is the later.
