   My son is severely hydrophobic, especially about his face getting wet, and bathtime used to be filled with crying and screaming. This has solved all our problems! He wears the "hat" and giggles as we wash his hair. The hat fits nicely around his head and the handle is perfect for me to hold or him to grab for his comfort (The only downside is that if your hands are wet it may drip a few water drops onto the child's face, I wish the handle had been slightly off-center to prevent that), it's easy to clean and has held up well for the year or so we've had it. I am SO glad we bought this. We don't ever do bathtime without it.

   Before finding this splashguard we all dreaded giving my 4 year old her bath. This had been a godsend and now bath night is a lot more relaxed for all of us. You do have to gently press it against the forehead with one hand the entire time you are pouring the water with the other hand to create the water tight seal, which can be kind of awkward at first until you get the hang of it. But once you do it a few times it becomes easier. The very front is wider than the sides and does not stay on top of my daughter's small head for very long until gravity kicks in and it falls down to her nose, but this doesn't bother me...I would rather it be a looser than tighter.

   It actually works. I use it for my almost two year old. Soap and water stays out of her face when we use this. She does hate at first when i put it on. I find it easiest to actually put it on completely than to just hold it up against the head. Makes bath time so much easier.

Unfortunately, her temples sink slightly and it could not seal to that. I think with a little more developing, this will be a great product to keep water out of the face! Very durable!

   I wish I had bought this a long time ago. Bath time has totally transformed and my daughter even helps me hold it on her head. Washing her hair used to be a terrible time and now it's super easy. Just make sure to tip it back before lifting it off the head so the water runs out the back. I actually bought two so my mom can have one at her house for when my daughter visits grandma :) this is a life changer for bath time.
