   I could not for the life of me manage to wash my daughter's hair without water dripping down her face. She's too young to know to put her head back (6 months) and while she doesn't mind water on her face, I felt bad every time she sputtered from it getting everywhere. I bought this not having high hopes that it would actually work, but I was pleasantly surprised! I can just fit it over her forehead and dump water on her head without any getting on her face. Definitely recommend!

I’m holding onto though, I feel that eventually she’ll let me use it, especially when she learns that it stops the water from running down her face. Until then, it’s “mommy hat.”

   I was so happy that this product works. My 20 month old used to scream when the water would get in her eyes, which it always would no matter what I tried (including a molded rinser cup) because she won't tilt her head back. Water does NOT get through this thing to their faces!
   My only challenge now is this: the 1st time I used it she was very happy to put it on and was even wearing it around the house like a hat. But the 2nd time, she didn't want to put it on, so it was more like trying to get a collar on a cat. Hopefully she'll get used to it and will be ok having it on.
   Update: we stopped trying to get her to tilt her head back at all because she likes to tuck her head down instead. So we don't use this. But it does work as advertised!
   Update 1 year later: She loves this thing and I never rinse her hair without it!

   When we first bought this thing I was very doubtful. I was one of those people that thought that it was too good to be true. Turns out that after about two years we washed my daughter's hair without the typical screaming, crying, fighting and yanking know as bath time. We did begin the process by letting her know she gets to wear a crown. After that it was no problem. We were able to give her her bath even put conditioner in her hair and she still didn't cry and it kept the water out of her eyes. At first my wife and I did it together, one of us held it and the other one washed the hair. It takes a little maneuvering to do it by yourself but it can be done. Excellent product!

   This thing is great. My 3 year old daughter would scream and cry every time I tried to wash her hair. I transitioned her over to washing it in the sink but it continued to be difficult leaning her back and she would still fight the entire process, afraid of water getting in her eyes. I finally decided to try this out and it's been a lifesaver. It fits her head well along with my 5 year old's, and she laughs now when we put it on her head to wash her hair.    Washing my daughters hair was such a challenge. I knew that there had to be some clever thing out there that could help with that and this is it. She is still getting used to the idea of it (in that she doesn't have to worry about getting water in her face) but it has made washing her hair so much less traumatic for both of us. It's a little big for her and you have to be almost double jointed to hold the splashguard and shampoo the hair but with a little maneuvering it's doable.

   This might be the smartest thing I have ever bought.
   I bought this for my 2 and 3 yr olds who hate bath time because they hate getting their hair washed. After having a particularly traumatic couple of baths I found this. It was like the gates of Heaven themselves opened.
   After a couple of baths my girls relaxed and bath time, and hair washing, is what bath time should be. Relaxing and fun.

   Got it for my 8 months old . He soar by like anything on his head like cap or hood . So was skeptical about buying this but I put it on his head and give a quick rinse. He tries to take it off but I think it’s a good compromise if your kid really doesn’t want anything oh their head but you are afraid to pour water directly .
