   I bought this a year and a half ago. I waited to write the review because I wanted it to be accurate after ample time using it. I can tell you that it definitely works on light brown to darker hair. It does not work on blonde hair, which is of no fault of the product. I knew that going into it. If you use it exactly like the instructions tell you, you will have positive results. If you don't, then you probably won't. Have patience and be consistent with it, and you will see the results. I would recommend this to anyone (except blondes) that are wanting to permanently get rid of unwanted hair.

   Initially, I just used the IPL on two lines on my legs from my ankles to just below my hip. I didn't do my entire legs in order to see if there was any progress in hair removal to see if this thing was merely a gimmick or was an actual functioning product. I'm happy to say that this item works. After the second week, I noticed that on the lines I did on my legs, there was a noticeable difference in hair growth speed compared to the parts of my legs that I was not using the IPL on. By week three, the hair in the areas I was flashing had basically vanished. It's important to mention that every week after my sessions, I'd rub the areas I flashed in order to see if any hairs were ready to fall out just like with the laser hair removal I'm getting from Ideal Image on my facial hair. This product is a miracle for a trans woman like myself as, while it's instructed not to use on the face, for the areas it can cover it saves me thousands of dollars that I'd normally have to spend for professional hair removal. All it takes is patience and dedication but it works.

   I'd highly recommend this product if you can't afford professional laser hair removal. From what I can tell on my body, it works best on finer hair like arm hair as opposed to underarm hair. I used this inconsistently over several months on my arms but still noticed a permanent reduction. I don't have to shave every day despite not having used it in probably around 4 months. It isn't completely gone, but it's significantly thinner and grows slower. I didn't notice much of a reduction on my bikini line aside from the hair becoming finer and easier to shave off without ingrown hairs coming in. When I stopped lasering my bikini line, it went back to normal entirely so I gave that up. It takes a long time to laser your legs and I didn't find it to be as effective there either. I decided to go with professional hair removal on my legs and used this for other areas (arms, toes, knuckles, etc). If you experience photosensitivity from topical skin treatments or medications, take precautions or hold off entirely. Overall great product though.

   I got this for using on my underarms and it really works. After one week I was noticing slower and thinner growth and now it's so slow and thin I forget to keep using it (it hasn't been the full 12 weeks). I'm not sure if it'll ever just stop growing but for someone who just gave up on sleeveless tops because they always had such bad irritation from shaving, this is totally worth it. I will say I started to try to use it on my legs one day but it just took way too long.

   This is such a great product I noticed the difference in the first couple of uses. I had visibly less facial hair and my skin looks and feels great! The only down side is my skin gets a bit itchy the day after using it but I find that applying aloe vera helps with the itching. Overall I would buy this product again, it's easy to use and affordable.

   This easy to to use hair remover does exactly that, removes hair!! For as long as I can remember, I've been waxing or using Nair to get rid of my embarrassing mustache. I've been using this little gadget for a couple of weeks and it hasn't completely gotten rid of my mustache, but I haven't had to use any products to remove it. The rate of growth is almost nil. It has even gotten rid of my peach fuzz on my jaw. I would definitely recommend this for anyone trying to get rid if unwanted hair.
