   Have not used large roller but smaller worked well and clean up was easy. Would prefer tray be sturdier. Had to be sure to pick up tray with both hands when tray is loaded with paint. Brushes are soft and don't create streaks during paint application.

   The combo set had professional quality rollers that are thick and absorbent. I even used one of the larger rollers to mop up my patio floor and it cleaned it better than a regular mop. The roller was super easy to clean and still kept its thickness without shedding. I'll be using it on a painting project soon.

   I used this set to paint a bathroom. I had wondered if the rollers would shed, etc. I was very happy with the quality! The rollers painted my knock-down ceiling and my walls perfectly fine. The kit even has an opener for the paint cans. I would definitely buy this again.

   I bought this to paint a number of rooms in a newly finished basement. With about 1500 square feet of living space to paint with drywall primer and top coats, I considered sprayers too, but was more comfortable with rolling. I was amazed at the pace of applying primer to the walls and easily applied 5 gallons in about 4 hours. I haven’t done the textured ceilings yet, but controlling the paint flow is easy and you can do it while you continue to roll, so I’m not too worried about excessive dripping. While cleanup takes time, the procedure works well and you don’t lose any more paint than when you clean an ordinary roller. I didn’t mind the cleaning time because of the dramatic difference in ease of use and the time savings over using a regular roller and tray. If you intend to paint a large room or multiple rooms, this is an excellent choice.

   It is definately easier than the traditional roller and tray. NO mess, no drips unless you pump the trigger too much. but you quickly get the hang of it. It takes more time to clean, but I just let the roller, roller arm soak while I sucked up the soapy water into the handle and flushed it out. I found that this was quicker to paint with less mess, drips. The filling of the paint into the handle is very easy. I think I would have preferred just pushing the handle/plunger than having to use the trigger to push the paint into the roller.
