So if you're donning your miners hardhat and going in deep... one word "Podiatrist".    I purchased the item I didn't think I would work. I had a ingrown for a few years and did not want to go to the Podiatrist to have it corrected. This tool work for me the second time I used it. Yes. It looks weird but it works. Make sure u soak ur foot in epson salt for about 15 min then place the tool in the nail wait for about 15 min then do it again the following day. My Pain was gone
