Overall the item is great. I've used these before in my old job so I finally decided to get one when my hard drive failed a few times. It really is what you need for basic file recovery or just quick hassle free cloning of drives. You can plug it into your computer and manage whatever files you need or just copy it all over. Beware difference in hard drive sizes you can always clone to a bigger drive but not a smaller one. I also love that it came with a USB-C to a USB 3.0 adapter. Only down side is the USB cable is a little short for my liking but is perfectly adequate in most cases. Note: Most bad reviews are from user error or simple misunderstanding of how hard drive cloning works and not the fault of the product. Money well spent!!!
