   I can fit two sticks in it and it holds well for when I want to burn two at a time. I have some cone incense I can use on the pad too. If I break off most of the stick, the hole will hold one stick just fine too. I'm happy with my purchase. The frog craftsmanship is great. I added pics to show double and single stick use and sizing against a pair of eye glasses.

   I was looking for a smaller stick incense holder and this one fits perfectly for the space I had available. The frog moves around which works for me since I use the taller, thin incense sticks. I move the frog to the back of the pad so the ashes will fall into the pad and not outside on the table. I don't have the shorter thick incense sticks right now so can't really comment on that, but it appears it may be sized for those. The stick hole is a bit short and larger for the thin sticks I have, but works great when I break off most of the wood stick and place it inside the hole. Takes just a second and I have no problems.

   I see complaints that incense dust spills off of the leaf tray, but I think you need to know how this fella prefers things. I like to hook him up with one of those Japanese five inchers. His wiener hole gets a little resinated with some of the incense because they burn all the way down the shaft. All you have to do is gently fish the unburned part of the stick out and this lil' critter is ready for a train of more five inchers.

   A little tip, despite how it appears, this frog is not self gratifying. Yet, it's hard not to erect a notion of a frog, alone in his home, taking a little me time with some quiet music and incense. Yes, he does look caught and yes, his junk is clearly exposed, gripped tightly between his webbed fingers. But upon receiving the little perv, it was quite clear he is just a frog holding a rod, but not his own. I applaud the sculpture on this feat of optical illusion and professional tact.

   I read other reviews that said they had issues with the little frog dude getting singed by the incense.
   
   What I've found is that if you sit the lil guy back on the edge of the lily pad instead of the center, the incense will naturally lean forward. It makes it looks like he's fishing. The ash will always fall straight onto the pad (given that you have standard length incense)

   I was looking for an incense holder and came across what I thought was a really cute frog ceramic holder. When it arrived today I opened it up and realized how phallic this might appear to be. I'm not sure why I didn't realize this from the photo. Perhaps I saw the 4.5 star ratings from >600 people and just hit buy. I my defense, this could have a been a 3am insomnia purchase. I immediately went to read comments to see if others had the same impression. But, no. The comments were centered on how cute this little guy is and you have to position him just right on the lily pad to get it to catch the incense ashes just right, or how he seems a little wobbly. So perhaps it was just me? So I consulted my husband on it and we laughed harder than we had in a long time. Buyer beware. 5 stars for the entertainment it provided me tonight.

   Honestly I bought this purely because of the placement of the insence holder. I'm not even going to be using it as an insence burner.
   However I'm sure if I was that it would be perfectly fit for purpose. Very sturdy and decent quality. Arrived very well packaged. He's very cute and appeals to my childish sense of humour perfectly haha
