   I would like to keep away from using pesticides, so I thought a light trap may help by reducing the small moth stage of this insect. Purchase this mainly because of the price just to see if something like this would work. Wasn't expecting much, but to my pleasant surprise this little contraption really sucks in those destructive little buggers. Very easy to use...just plug it in and let it run. The trap cup is large enough (at least for these small moths) that I only need to empty it about once a week. I'm impressed enough that I'll probably purchase another for the opposite end of the greenhouse.

   Installation consists of putting the unit in a darkened area and plugging the power cord into the unit's top and a wall outlet. This turns on the fan and the UV light ring in the unit. You must also make sure that you have twisted the top half of the unit to uncover the entry slots. To turn off the unit, close the entry slot cover and then unplug the unit. If the cover is open when the fan goes off, the bitey beasts are free to fly out. I trimmed a piece of sticky mosquito paper to fit in the botton of the unit and once a mosquito is sucked into the unit by the fan and hits the paper, he is done moving.Within an hour there was one large mosquito stuck on the bottom paper. When I went to bed, I raised it to the top of seat back and left it in a darkened room overnight.
