   I'm in my late-50's and somehow developed painful tendonitis in my left elbow and forearm. I do lift a lot of computer equipment for my job on a daily basis and started having a lot of pain in that arm when moving things around. Not much was helping until I found out about the R-I-C-E (Rest-Ice-Compression-Elevation) method for dealing with tendonitis. I bought this sleeve for the compression part of that, and it works great. I wear it all day at work to help reduce the pain and it definitely helps. At home I ice my elbow and rest it elevated as much as I can. This sleeve is a life-saver at work! Really helps with the pain. Need to be careful with the Velcro strap, since it's fairly easy to cut off circulation if it's adjusted too tightly.

   i've broken many bones in my arms and my work (electronics and circuit design and teaching) and hobbies (guitar, yoga, art) involve repetitive motion that puts strain on my wrists and elbows. These braces are LIFESAVING: i bought them when my arms hurt so much i couldn't use my hands and they already feel a million times better. I also got the TheraBand bar (red, which has slightly less than enough tension for me) for exercising them, which has been very helpful as well. The straps at the bottom are extremely helpful since the sleeves don't fit me very snugly (I got a small and my arms are around 9-9.5 inches). I would not suggest sizing up if you fall in the size range for a small since they're quite stretchy and could easily accommodate several more inches of arm than what I have. If they offered an XS that might have fit me better. They are comfortable enough to sleep in (I did that last night). My arms are on the longer side for someone my height (5'8”).

   I've had pain in the top of my left elbow for a while now. Some people call it tennis elbow but I don't play tennis. I get it from the repetitive motion using my iPad. So call it “iPad elbow “. This brace is great. It fits snugly around my elbow but doesn't restrict my ability to move and bend the elbow. The wraparound strap allows me to adjust the the tension in my upper forearm where the pain is located.
