I REALLY love being able to see the image that is on my old negatives. Item takes a few minutes to work out the buttons, and for slides it is not fast, as it will only take one slide at a time. However, I bought it mainly to see the negative, and for that it is excellent. You insert an SD card like is used in most cameras, and the images you take are stored on that; it does not store directly to a computer. You then use the SD card to transfer them to the computer.

This is a neat and near perfect item. I managed to slide lots of slides through this thing in a matter of a short time. I even got bold and found some negatives and slid them through. The only problem I had was that some of the old slides were packaged in cardboard and were a bit larger than the slide slot and I had to work to push them through; newer plastic mounted slides zipped right through. The quality of the output is excellent. I am glad I bought it.
