   Great product. Tweaked my ankle and needed to stabilize it while I continued to walk around and play disc golf so it could heal. Yes, it's thick, but strong and stabilized my ankle through rigorous activities. After a month of use, ankle is almost at 100%. Would definitely buy again if needed. Inner cloth lining goes over your foot, not under. I wore mine over socks.

   I severely sprained my ankle playing basketball and was too afraid to start playing any multidirectional sport for fear of doing it again. Thanks to this brace I've been able to ease back in to playing racquetball 3 times a week and my ankle has never felt more stable. I wouldn't wear this for more than 2 hours but up to that point it is very comfortable and fits most of my sports shoes just fine. Definitely helped with my recovery.

   I purchased this brace as a replacement for the one my podiatrist recommended after my last ankle surgery. I couldn't find the old brace when I injured it again and needed to be able to comfortably support my foot and keep it from shifting from a right angle position to heal properly. Most braces don't work for me because they are compression-based, but I can't have compression and have weak ankles. My old brace was a medium and never fit well so I decided to give the small a try. It's a perfect fit and I now own two and soon will own four as they are really supportive for my hyper-mobility, particularly during sleep.

   Ankle brace is very well made. I have been wearing mine every day for several months and it is still in like new condition. Ankle brace size M fits my skinny bony Mens US Size 11 1/2 B foot very well. Think of sizing relative to foot thickness, not foot length. If I was same foot length but in D width, would likely need L size ankle brace. Of course this brace limits your ankle range of motion as that is the whole point of an ankle brace; to protect your ankle from over bending. Would definitely buy again but this one is holding up very well. I expect to recover 100% from my ankle surgery long before wearing out the ankle brace.

   I can't wear normal socks as it hurts my foot with the brace so I purchased compression socks and trouser socks which work great. I can wear the brace all day at work (8-10 hrs) which is 100% on my feet. For me, driving is difficult cause this brace works at restricting the movement of my ankle and heavy traffic (60 mins plus) requires me to remove the brace. Due to the brace, I can only wear sneakers and the one shoe gas to be extremely loose for the brace to fit in the shoe. Other than those few things, the brace is great.

   I have taken this brace into salt water swimming, fresh water river walks, biked about 232 miles and counting, done everything from pistol squats and burpees to balancing in bosu balls in it. It's perfect for it all. The one thing I haven't been able to test is running, which I'm anxious to be cleared for again and to use this brace for as well. I anticipate it will be great for that as well.
