Close the lid and shake the repair pen thoroughly. Apply a primer on a separate surface.
Point the pen tip down, press and release the pen tip on the surface until the pen tip is saturated. Protect the pen tip from sunlight! It may take 40 to 50 presses to saturate the pen tip.
Apply the pen to the scratches in the shaded area. When the resin is cured in the sun, it can work quickly.
Use dry paper towels to quickly wipe off the excess.

Make sure you dont go outside the lines or you will scratch the good paint on your car. Clear coat side is tricky but then again it was my first time. Didnt get it as smooth as I prefer kinda like when women get nails clear coated. But at least I cant see the huge scratch I had on my shiny black truck after I wash and shined it. Over. Good product.

I didn't use all the fancy options like the sanding stone tip, or clear coat tip, or fine paint pen tip. I only needed and used the brush tip to dab small drops of paint into the chips, and then fill scratches on my tailgate in the gap between the bed liner, and the truck. Works great, can't even find the spots I touched up unless I really look hard for them. I also touched up a couple scratches on my black rims where I hit a curb and scuffed them. Worked awesome! Highly recommend. Touched up spots lasted through several hand washes, power washes, and 10k + miles. Great stuff!
