I needed a tabletop grill to roast s'mores with a group and this worked great. Used both wood pieces and charcoal to get the right heat and ambience. Could easily have just used the wood pieces and had a fire for a while. I was worried about how to handle the hot ashes because I didn't have time to wait for the fire to burn completely out. The way the legs are designed gave me an easy solution of just transporting the hot ash to a different container for disposal. The grill cooled down really quckly after I removed the hot coals and ashes. Excited to use it again. Seems like a well made product and does fold flat as advertised The canvas bag for the grill seems sturdy and appears it will last rough handling. It is a little heavy if you are considering this for a long backpacking trip. Would be good for backpacking short hikes and weekend adventures.

My kids and I are at the lake at least 2-3 times a week. When the sun sets, we love to sit around the fire. But, I didn't want to worry about starting an entire fire at the lake by making a fire on the grass, and I am not trying to carry around an entire grill. I decided to look for a portable firepit, and decided on this one. It is PERFECT for the job! I typically use wood to make my fires, but for the convenience I have been using charcoal. It lights just fine in here. The fire is still a good size even though the pit itself is small. We are always the highlight of the lake, everyone loves it. My kids and I love it as well. Also, it fits in a backpack and it cools off quickly to put in the bag. I would buy this again and again. Helpful tip- the instructions don't have words. It took me a minute to figure out you are supposed to cross the legs. Just make sure they are criss-crossed and you'll be just fine! Happy summer!

So compact for packing - easy to assemble and sturdy for what it is - works great, and with a pan cover, 4 steaks came out awesome. Using a pan or pot cover helped retain heat on a really cold night (over coals). Also, peach cobbler cooked in foil over the grill turned out incredible. So pleased for its size… and I would definitely order an even larger one when if they produce it!

Used this grill for winter grilling atleast once a week sometimes twice weekly. I paired this with a portable fire chimney starter to get vegetables a head start while the coals got ready. I normally grill a couple potatoes, onions, bell peppers, maybe corn, or foil packet squash with butter and herbs. For the meat I would will grill chicken thighs, smoked sausage, beef steak, and some pork steaks. I can probably cook enough for 4 people on this little grill but again in conjunction with the chimney starter with a grill top to help cook some of the vegetables. For 1 to 2 people you can easily cook a meal with vegetables and meat. Since it doesn't have a lid to snuff the remaining coals I usually throw in a couple of logs while we're eating. So by the time we are done with our meals we have a nice campfire. In case you have to snuff the coals I make a container shaped aluminum box and carefully pour the coals inside. I pour some water and slowly kill the coals before I seal it off with more aluminum foil. Very portable and not have to deal with cleaning the ground after a campfire.

Perfect size for a couple steaks and a foil pack side. I do wish the grill grate was a little more robust as it warped the first time I used it.
I also wish that on the medium one there was a small charcoal rack to help with air flow.

This grill is awesome. It's super portable and folds into a neat, flat profile that tucks away easily in the case. It's super simple to unfold, use, and repack when done. The coal burns very well in it, and the air holes provide perfect ventilation for the coals to heat up and stay hot until done. Being stainless steel is a very nice feature because galvanized steel wouldn't last long when exposed to heat and moisture, and I know I can expose it to saltwater while boating and on the beach without worry.
