   We needed a feeder for our two cats as we need to leave town for a few days and will only have a cat sitter for one meal a day. I didn't have any problem programming the feeder to dispense meals several times a day and was able to adjust the amount of food at any particular mealtime. The programmable message works just fine and while it could be louder, it is more than adequate for the cats hearing.

   I read all the reviews before purchasing. I think they have revised the user instructions. It was really easy for me to navigate the device with them. Once I had it set up, it worked great. I've had it for a couple of weeks now and no problems. My cat is still getting used to it though. i'm really glad to have some thing set up for when we go out of town. Peace of mind.

You can also control the portion of food that comes out each time. My cat was eating too quickly and throwing up, but once I used this feeder she hasn't throne up once!! It is easy to set up and has thorough instructions. The feeder at the top is pretty spacious and you probably will only have to fill it once every couple of weeks depending on how many cats you have and how much they eat. It plugs right into the outlet to work but also has the option to place batteries just in case of a power outage. Overall, the design is also very sleek and modern to fit most décor. The tray that the food spills into is removable making cleaning extremely easy. I would highly recommend it for people looking for a sleek looking timed feeders for their pets, will no extra frills that make it too complicated or overbearing to use.

   This feeder works great. Originally bought it for feeding the cat while away, but use it all the time now. The cat cannot get into it which was a worry. The lid fits tightly and slips nicely. The capacity is fine. Allows four feedings per day and amount adjustments for each feeding. Very sturdy and cat cannot knock it over. Cleans up nicely with the metal tray.

   The auto feeder works great especially when I have to few days trip away from home. I like that you can have up to 4 different feeding times throughout the day to spread food out. I wish that the portion sizes were a little bigger per feeding time as I do have two cats rather than one. The lock feature is nice in case a cat paws the feeder. The tray is very easy to keep clean as it is dishwasher safe.

   Bought this product for our 68 pound lab retriever who requests breakfast every morning at 4am like clockwork. To get a bit more sleep, we tried this product; it is working perfectly. Now each morning using the timer I have the feeder dish out 3 portions of kibble a half cup each using the timer (I could not get the portion size to go above a half cup, and he needs 1.5 cups for breakfast). He is a fast eater, so I have the timer set just about 2 minutes apart for each of the 3 portions. My only constructive feedback on the product is that I wish the digital display was backlit so that you could see it in the dark when you might want to change something. Some of the reviews I saw before I purchased talked about this being for smaller animals, so I was nervous about the size of my dog. However, my work around of feeding 3 times in a small timeframe is giving me exactly what I needed--more sleep and a fed/satisfied dog who goes back to sleep after he eats!

   Our lazy cat is fat and the vet said we needed to measure carefully out portions and feed her four times a day. It is hard to look into those sad eyes and I like sleeping at night, so we got this machine to do the hard work for us. Works great. It has the added bonus of the cat no longer begging us for food - well, most of the time. Instead, the cat now just sits in front of the feeder. The voice record/playback feature is kind of stupid, but it is fun to watch the cat run when she hears it.

   I love this product so far! Got a little mixed up on setting up the time for the feeding - the clock uses military time. Once I realized the mixup it was super simple and easy to fix and setup. I'm in love with the voice recording feature - my husband is not a fan of cats so I had him record a message ”come eat you stupid cat” that plays at the designated feeding time. I crack up every time although it's hard to understand the audio. Which again isn't a bad thing cuz I wouldn't want it to wake me up at 6am for the first feeding time. Would totally recommend buying. It looks good. Seals the food in well. Can program for multiple feedings throughout the day. The cat now begs the feeder for food and not me lol
