   We bought this primarily to feed our two cats while we are away on weekends. We've used it twice a day for a few weeks to test that it will work for this purpose and it works fine. They are persistent when it comes to breaking into food containers and they haven't cracked this one yet. The recording is very loud but I believe that can be turned off. It is smaller than I expected and there is some jostling between the two cats for the bowl. Sometimes a bit of food stays in the chute and one cat has worked out to give it a whack for the food to come out. It works with Hill's Science diet normal/small food, but I don't think it will work with Hill's large "oral care" food my cats sometimes eat.

   I have 2 large cats which get a little annoying in the morning. I have one of these beauties dishing out 10 units of kibble and problem solved. The voice recording quality is a bit average. Volume is OK, not to loud, not too soft. I turned it off as the sound of the kibble hitting the steel bowl is enough to send them running from whom-ever's bed they are stressing about starvation from.
   They haven't broken into the machine yet, not from the lack of trying, so top marks there. Seems to hold a couple weeks worth of breakfasts for 2 x 8kg fur bags. I could use the dinner setting (of the 4 possible meal times) if i fed them kibble at night. Menus are easy to use.

   With a holiday coming up and increasingly violent morning “feed me” wake ups at 4 am we decided to get an automatic feeder for our two cats. There are too many on the market to count but I eventually narrowed it down to this model, the dual feeding bowls sealed the deal. The programming of the unit is a little tricky but not that bad, capacity for food is good and sustained our two cats for 7 days easily. The feeder has not missed a beat since install about two months ago and I am very happy with it, no jams, easy to clean, seems to more or less evenly distribute food between the two bowls, alerts with a blue flashing light that food level is low. Had a security camera trained on the feeder during our holiday to check it was dispensing food at set times and our cats did not go hungry! Would recommend without hesitation, how long it will last.. time will tell..

   Depending on the kibble you put the dose, then weigh it the first time and find the right dose in the machine you can also set that, if you use large croquettes it is not good the croquettes get stuck,

   Automatic pet feeder chosen from the many Amazon proposals.
   After much research, I chose this model because it allows high precision in the amount of food it drops into the bowl.
   To simply explain how it works is like choosing how many spoons of food to give.
   The amount of food in each meal is finely selectable between 1 and 20.
   The dry food container is a good size, sufficient for several days.
   The whole feeder is made of solid plastic, everything is thick, they have not skimped on strength.
   The entire feeder is powered by a USB socket, an excellent canvas cable and the 220 to 5 volt transformer are included.
   Another very important detail are the 3 type D batteries that power the feeder if the USB power is missing.
   This is very important for when you are not at home and due to a problem the mains power goes out.
   The display is comfortable and there are many buttons, each has a specific function, it could be scary, but their arrangement makes it easy to change meal times and the amount of food in each individual meal.
   Meals may be four, not more, but four are more than enough for any pet.
   The instructions are only in English, for me it's not a problem but the specifics, the important lines for programming are just a dozen, but the programming itself is still intuitive.
   I am very satisfied with it, ah, yes, it also has the voice recording function that is played when the meal is delivered, useful only, the animals immediately get used to a specific time , they will amaze you how much they know “mealtime” with Swiss precision:)

   I was sceptical about how good this machine would be, but I shouldn't have been. We adopted two kittens at the end of March and I have maybe gone a bit overboard wanting the best things for them and would definitely say this is one of them. Once you get your head around how to work the portion sizes, it works very well. I like that there's an option to record a voice message for the cats because I have always called them for their meals, so this will work really well for when we go away.
   The instructions are clear and the machine is easy to programme. I'm hoping I'll find out how to turn the beep volume down because it's a bit aggressive, but other than that, I've no complaints.
   The two bowls provided clip into place under the machine and have metal inserts that can be taken out to clean easily.
   It holds almost a full bag of whiskas dry food, so will last a long time for our two cats who eat a mixture of wet and dry food.
   Overall, I'm very happy with this machine and would recommend it, so far!

   I have two cats so this two-way feeder is perfect as they prefer having their own bowls. It is easy to set up, you need to add a voice recording for before biscuits are dispensed, which I really love about this machine. You set size of portion and schedule throughout the day so you are never late serving your feline masters again (ha, ha). I originally wanted for when I was going to be late home or out for the day, however, just leave it on all the time, as soon as they hear the recording of my voice calling them for their biscuits they are off like a shot. I would prefer it if you could plug it in underneath the machine so the cable just comes from a slit in the back as they have moved the whole machine a couple of times (mainly when only half full of biscuits though) meaning it unplugs so does not work. That said, I am very pleased with this purchase.
