   I start using it for my baby before bed time and while she is a sleep. Was helpful for us as we are going through separating rooms. I leave it on for her in case she wakes up. A tip to use for bedtime, is that the red light works best as it's the least stimulating where the blue and green have more receptor in the retina and can cause stimulation instead of putting your baby to sleep. We start our bedtime rhythm with blue and red then only keep red for sleep.

We chose the blue light but the other colors are vibrant but not annoying. The adjustable timer feature is excellent. You must hold the remote fairly close to the machine for it to work, not much range. We've had it only a couple of months but so far, it's a great product.

The timer feature is a nice option. It just started with a low clicking noise when rotating because my son dropped it for the umpteenth time off his dresser.
