While this mouth guard is on the expensive side, I found it to worked much better in terms of comfort and jaw stress than the other cheap soft plastic bulky mouth guards, and it's way cheaper than the dentist version. Also, if you don't like the fit on first try, you can remold it again and again. The manufacture says it can be remolded 20 times, but I have only done so around 6 times, but this allowed me to get a perfect fit. It is made from a rather interesting thermoplastic, that gets quite hard after it cools. It can feel a tad tight on your teeth, but you can remold it to get the desired fit. It is a fairly hard plastic once cooled, and I think it will hold up well over time.

I showed it to my dental hygienist and she was shocked I got it from Amazon and she is now telling her patients to order one! I've had it for 8 months and it's still in get condition!!

It's lighter, thinner, and it doesn't have the annoying hard flat bottom that most guards do. I tend to clench down and forwards with my top front teeth when I sleep, and those flat-bottom guards let me put too much pressure on my bottom front teeth. And I love that it feels snug. I hate when i feel like my guard is going to fall off in my sleep.
