   I was pleasantly surprised by the highly polished finish and the heft. But the stand was only, adequate.And believe you me, I looked very closely for the tiniest scratch or dull spot; there were none. The crystal ball was even a bit larger than I had hoped (one can never tell by just looking at a picture).. the finish even remains perfect after my almost OCD-like polishing!    I ordered one, but for some reason it was deemed "undeliverable". I've never experienced that before. I tried again and it came right on time. I am an energy witch. Holding this ball, I felt an energy that I've never felt before. So positive! Grounded, yet uplifting. Tingling. Cleansing. An instant connection greater than I've ever felt with any crystal. I had doubts that it was real obsidian until I held it. The psychic charge is fantastic! I'm looking forward to scrying with it.

I believe the ball has helped keep any negative engery at bay. Due to it being a full moon tonight, it will be leaving my room to go outside to charge then come back in my room to continue its job.    The packing was a bit strange with bubble wrap around the outside of the cardboard box into which the sphere had been stuffed, protected by a mere plastic baggie. But I saw no scratches and no imperfections. Lots and lots of small bubbles, when the afternoon sun hits it it comes alive. This is NOT a suncatcher nor a rainbow maker, it is a lot of glowing bubbles inside a sphere.

They're bigger than I had imagined, and quite heavy, almost 3 pounds apiece. That's my hand in the picture for reference, and I wear a size large glove.
