I used to get constant sinus infections prior to using this product daily has cured me of this. On the medium / low setting ½ the container per side lasted a good long time of irrigation, so it wasn't over in 5 seconds like the squeeze type. Each nostril got a solid 15-25 seconds of irrigation and it was comfortable and painless. Nothing down the throat.

   This was recommended to me by a friend, and I was skeptical at first, but it is as good as I heard, and very easy to use. Really. I have used it for several months, and it is a piece of cake. The water gently goes into one nostril and flows out of the other. I have mild life-long allergies that, at a minimum (according to my wife), cause or contribute to some pretty serious snoring. I use it before bed, and it improves my ability to breathe immediately, and for several hours afterwards. I'm not a medical professional, and I can't talk about long-term benefits, etc., but, having been a medical writer for several years, I am a big believer in the proven success of non-invasive, drug-free treatments. I still sometimes do the Nasonex thing in the morning, but, for the first time in about 40 years, I have quit allergy pills completely.
