I was looking forward to offer my review. Especially for the Koi owners. When I built my pond I purchased two Koi and some Comets. It wasn't long before Algae started to form. I purchased an Algacide at Home Depot. Used as directed my Koi died. The Comets survived. From then on I only purchased feeder fish in colors. When I used the Algae fix I use less than instructed. Regardless of claims that products won't kill fish Koi may be at risk. Comets have a better tolerance.

Algaefix has done the job of clearing up the early summer mess and has continued to keep the water clear for the past month including the "bloom" period. Caution tho: follow directions carefully as this product can be harmful to your fish if you over-treat. Fantastic product.

(Didn't read the directions! tsk tsk!) All fish survived in spite of our over-eagerness to get rid of the overgrown algae. Definitely got rid of green water and the string algae in about two weeks of applications. A small amount of algae remains on the rocks, like a fuzzy face, but it is appropriate, providing food for the gold-fish and shubunkins. And the water is crystal clear. A visitor asked me, "How do you keep your pond so CLEAN?" Victory! Been using this for a month now, and the pond water looks fantastic, fish are happy, and so are we!

I had a lot of algae, different kinds, in my little pond. This stuff killed most of it on the first application. Took another shot to get rid of the heavy stringy stuff. It has been two weeks and none of the algae has returned. Plus, it takes so little to kill the algae that this bottle will last a really long time! Great stuff! I would certainly recommend it to any pond owners looking for a good anti-algae product!
