But, in spite of that - it is easy to install, works well, does not spill water all over like other solar fountains. And the birds just love it. This three tear topper not only matches the green of my fountain but keeps all the water intact and stuck in the very center. Since it bubbles up and trickle's down (instead of spraying up) water stays put. It has a long string and solar panel at the end. I ended up hanging mine from a stake so it gets sun most of the day. Its near the bird feeder so the birds love playing in it too! Instructions for assembly are simple and you can put the top faced down or up.
