It would have been helpful if the joints were actually labeled on the stand, but it did not take much time to figure out which joints were which. There is an edge at the front of the tray to prevent your laptop from sliding forward that has kind of uncomfortable corners. I used tape to make then less sharp. I would definitely buy this again and highly recommend to people that like to relax on a couch or bed when working on their comps.
