   First thing I did was practice by making a couple of the included "projects" to learn how it works. Then I set to repairing the splint for my thumb. Under the blue repair is the original piece which had broken off. You can see what the purpose of the splint is in the other two pics -- it holds my thumb in the proper position and alleviates pain.

   Sleep mode is great in case you forget to unplug the pen, simple to get used to, the back button to eject the filament is a bit much. Sometimes I just want to reverse just a little bit of filament to remove any burrs or knots that can clog the feeding tube.
