   This product works well, is well designed, and much better than the usual chi*se products one usually sees. The documentation is absent grammar and spelling errors. The unit is watertight, very bright. Blues and reds are never as brights as greens, but that is the nature of the color. The patterns are nicely randomized, and the variable speed control works well. One downside: you can freeze a pattern, but you can't select a specific pattern. Instead you wait for it then freeze it, if that's what you want.

   We purchased this unit because year after year, I had to climb the ladders to hang the outdoor Christmas lights and decor and after the Christmas season was over, I again had to climb and take it down. It became a tiresome task. FINALLY, she agreed to make it easier. It only took minutes to setup and install. The lights are brilliant and wide enough coverage for our home. I only wish that I can sync the lights with the outdoor music system. But I am still working on that. All and all we are very pleased with this product.
