   This is WONDERFUL! I used to have just a basket that held all of my spices and it was impossible to find anything and I wound up taking apart the entire cabinet trying to find ground ginger. This works especially well for those small bottles (you can fit twice as many and they are so easy to find). Otherwise, 18 of the regular size bottles.

   My husband does some of the cooking, and tends to buy any spice that sounds interesting. Our spice cupboard was stuffed full of spices and they were in no special order. It drove me crazy. I love this organizer! It doesn't hold every size, and it certainly didn't hold all of the spices we had, but it did wonders to get the ones we use most front and center where they are easy to access.

   I've been looking for a spice rack for a long time. I have so many spices that want to alphabetize them. I envisioned stackable trays with curved divided sections. This product is a step better because the "drawers" pull out and tilt down so that everything is visible. It arrived fully assembled in good condition. The labels are great, plus blank labels, but I don't plan to use them as my goal is alphabetizing which may require me to shift things around from time to time. I have a typical pantry with the white wire-wrapped shelves and this sits securely in place. It has four square sizeable feet. There is room on top for odd packaging spices that doesn't fit in the grooves. This one passes the test, so I just ordered 2 more. I recommend highly.

The top drawer holds the spices that my husband most often uses, so it reduces the chance that he won't find what he wants. It also ensures they go back where they belong. Most racks have tiered shelves three deep, but it's a waste of space because you are still only storing one jar high. This rack has the jars laying down stacked three high so it has a very low profile. The drawers are strong and locked into place so they can't be pulled out my mistake. I have it on a shelf, not a counter top, and the drawers slanted perfectly so that the jars do not fall out. I am really happy with this purchase!

The heaviness was because the product is sturdy and strong! Often times, products are not made with quality in mind but not this. They are top quality with perfect functionality.
