   This is the 3rd and latest dementia clock that I have bought from this supplier. My father has vascular cognitive impairment and is often confused especially when he wakes in the morning or from a nap in the chair. This clock really helps him understand what the time and date is but also morning afternoon or evening. It helps him know what time he takes his medication and and you can set up various alarm combinations to assist.There are also 4 clock variations and 4 colours to choose - all very easy to set up. This is the smaller clock but the other two I have are the larger screen. This latest one is a great size to place on a bedside table or in a kitchen. It is wall mountable but comes with a screw-in stand which I prefer. The digital clock is also accurate and keeps perfect time - It keeps time against my iPhone so that’s another great point. It gives me peace of mind to know that this clock helps my dad to manage at home for a bit longer. Highly recommended.

   The first was bought for a 92 year old lady who has lost the ability to keep track of the time and date and has no idea about modern technology. This product - at its most basic, namely displaying day, date and time - requires absolutely no involvement from the user, making it perfect for users with a phobia of modern technology allied to dementia. It has multiple other functions too, with the ability to set alarms etc. However this function requires a carer to actively become involved with the display. Thus far I have used it straight out of the box and it has transformed my mother's life at a stroke. The second was bought for a 97 year old friend who is over the moon! Wonderful idea - well done!

   What was even more impressive was that it set itself, as soon as I plugged it in. That I didn't expect. I expected to have to go through a palaver to get it set up, but no. It set itself to its default setting, which I was delighted to discover was NOT the 24-hour clock, but the old-fashioned 12-hour clock (AM and PM), which will be much easier for most elderly people to recognise and deal with.

   Brought this for my mum who has dementia and asked non stop what day it is. Since l have it, it has helped her recognise what day it is along with the time. It so easy to set up. Plug in and automatically ready to go. I had to change the hour which with the remote control was very easy to do. Great for all the family specially young children to help tell the time plus those suffering with Alzheimer's.
