   This device is a little more expensive than other "bare bones" products but the extra cost is worth it. I realized that the included knee pads were very useful after initially using the roller without them. And, the assistance the device provides on the way back up is a nice feature that you won't find on a simpler product.    Truly worth getting over a conventional ab wheel. The spring assistance makes it easier to use perfect form, takes strain off the lower back, and allows you to do more reps. If you find it's not as challenging as a standard ab wheel, just roll out from a standing position instead of from your knees. Overall, it's a small price to pay for a piece of sturdy equipment that will honestly get you shredded if you just keep at it and don't give up

This is great if you are just trying to stay tone or you have 20 to 30 pounds to lose like myself. At first you won't be extending all the way as this is a difficult thing to do even for really fit people.
