   Bought this as a fun way for my 5 ur old to play with her new kitten, good buy it is a little cheaply made but it is a lot of fun to watch them play with this. The remote is easy for her to use as it only goes 2 ways, not sure who likes it more my daughter or the kitten. I'm not sure who you would “gift” this too unless your in a similar situation as our family with a young kid & new cat but it was a cheaper product so I was willing to take a shot on it & glad I did. Pretty durable and surprisingly alot after than I thought it was going to be. So very happy with my purchase

   We have a very hyperactive cat needs to play all the time. This toy has been a particular favorite that we bring out once in awhile. The mouse is amazingly good at getting out of tight spots, it keeps backing up until it finds a way to get out from under a piece of furniture. The cat loves to follow it around the house. The tail lights up beautifully and it is very easy to charge with the USB charger.

It redirects and work pretty well over the rug. I've only had to fish it out from underneath the couch once. My senior cat has no interest in it. He just watches her chase it.

   My 2 cats really love chasing this little guy around the apartment. Other reviews are right -- it can get stuck in corners and the battery life is not amazing. But given its tiny size, I wouldn't expect anything better. I've had other similar electric toys that got stuck much more easily, and this one often does a pretty good job getting itself turned around. For what I paid for it, I am well pleased.
