   Very clear live view of what was going on with my ears. I thought I was going deaf and that I had an ear infection. What I had was two very different ear wax impaction. I searched how to get rid of the wax naturally and started using hydrogen peroxide (do not use that if you have an ear drum perforation). Over the following week, I watched my ear wax issues completely resolve and since then am able to keep both ears in check. No more pain and pressure and I can hear fine again!

   Bought this after a traditional otoscope we’d bought finally broke. Both of my children had a history of ear infections, so an otoscope was a useful purchase.This may be even more useful. I saved a trip to the urgent care center by using this otoscope in combination with my health insurance’s telehealth program. I was able to send the doctor a picture of the eardrum to determine if an infection was a possibility. The doctor was super impressed by the quality and clarity of the picture.But the usefulness didn’t stop there. A lighted camera on a small cable has helped in many other areas at home as well. Examining clogged drains, looking under heavy appliances with little ground clearance, even diagnosing a loose glue joint inside a ukelele!

   So I purchased this for myself. It was easy to use. I plugged into my USB and opened the camera app on my PC and it was instantly working. Figuring out camera orientation was a little tricky but that just involved rotating camera with your fingers. I've had very itchy ears and I've noted some whistling in my ear when I'm outside and wind blows in my ear (like wind blowing through crack of door). I thought I had compacted ear wax. Once I inserted camera, there was nothing. My ears were a little dry but everything looked good. I could even see my ear drum which was pretty cool. I asked my husband if I could use my new torture device, I mean camera on him. He eagerly agreed. As soon as I inserted camera into his ear you could see impacted wax. He had impacted wax in BOTH EARS. I said OMG you really can't hear me. To which he replied: I told you! I thought he'd been ignoring me when I spoke, that he had other things more important that what I had to say. As you can imagine, that can become quite irritating. Alas, I found out he really couldn't hear! The tools did very little to get the wax out as it hurt him so I gave up and made a doctor appointment. Perhaps this is better suited on those without impacted wax. You really need to be careful not to push the wax further into the ear canal. Otherwise this lightning deal may have saved my marriage. After he has wax removed, I will be sure to update this review to let you know if he still ignores me when I speak to him (Hehehe).

   I bought this to take care of my dad’s ears. He wanted to get fitted for hearing aids but his ears were impacted with wax. We got the wax out with a earwax removal kit from amazon. He had a few health problems that took priority over hearing aids. He asked me to check his ears again after many months of recovery. I told him I purchased a tiny camera that could show us the inside of his ears. I was delighted to see his interest in seeing inside his own ears. I actually brought it to Christmas Day and I had many people interested in seeing inside their ears. It was a hit at the party and dad was pleased with his clean ears. Love this !

   This is the most genuine review I'm giving.....Its a great piece. Really I felt very happy for the quality. But use OTG VIEW app of android not the one with this bundle.The above images are crystal clear and we get an image of 640×480 pixels.Remember the camera focal length is 1.5 cms. It mean that you cannot see images greater or lesser than 1.5 cms, they all will be blur.Dont use the LED lights continuously in high mode after high lighting mode for 7-8 minutes the lighting area will get heated up, so after 8 minutes the anterior tip will be hot to place into ear.So adjust lighting as per requirement so you can use it continuously.But overall it's a great piece for inspection.
