   This wheelchair works great for our senior pug that is having back leg weakness. This cart is very lightweight and is easy for her to use. She was able to take right off in it. This is the second cart that we purchased. The first one was much too heavy and was impossible for her to navigate. She was continually falling backwards from the weight in the back off the cart.

   This is my first review of any product I have ever bought and I'm only doing it so that it may help you make the decision to purchase one for you furbaby wondering if it works. My 16yr old dog was losing the ability to walk from possible old age nerve issues, she did not have any xrays done so really not sure what the problem was, but gradually the weakness in her back legs even with chiropractic and acupuncture treatments was progressing to the point where she was not able to walk more than a couple of feet before falling down. Bought this wheelchair, figured that she would now be a special needs dog for the rest of her life, and after a few weeks of use she is now able to walk on her own more and more.

   I really like this wheelchair. I have an 8 year old Yorkie who has knee problems. I can't afford the surgery so the vet recommended the use of a wheelchair and glucosamine and aspirin daily. I originally bought a wheelchair on eBay and she hated it. It was for dogs that were completely paralyzed in the rear legs and she is a very active dog whose back legs are just weakened by her condition.

   Easy to adjust to his little body, easy to fit it on and he took right off to look around. Luckily his legs came back. I think the vets had just over medicated him to the point he couldn't walk. He was on 4 meds, prednisone, gaba pentine, a muscle relaxer and anti inflamatory.
